The CentrePoint Surf and Bodyboard Club in Lanzarote was formed to teach about the ocean and how to appreciate it and make the most of what it has to offer. From new beginner to advanced, surfer, bodyboarder – or both - ultimately what’s important is getting out there, competing or enjoying the learning experience.
The Club has been designed to provide the highest level of training to residents of the Canaries & to establish the Canary Islands as a hot bed of young talent. The junior squad (from age 6 to 16) has been getting good results on the Canarian circuit and growing stronger with every competition.
From September 2008 to May 2009 some of the squad took part in competitions throughout the Canary Islands. We plan to participate in competitions on the Canarian circuit and outside(Rapid progress, some are at the level where they can start to compete beyond the Canaries i.e. mainland Spain, France, Portugal, Morocco and England) Level & budget when the season kicks in again from August 2009 to May 2010
An equally important aim of the club is to welcome international visitors to the island and for us to be accepted in their home breaks. Plans are underway to do a “surf swap” with youngsters from Surf Clubs on the other islands to give them a really authentic surfing or bodyboarding experience here in lanzarote. This is the real thing – not plastic…
The club holds courses for all levels in both disciplines throughout the year. Tuition is to the highest level from a small, dedicated team who love what they do.

Holiday periods (except summer holiday) – 4 day beginner course (6-8 kids)
Summer Hols - 1 month beginner course 2 afternoons per week (10-14 kids)
Summer Hols - 1 month intermediate course 2 mornings per week (6-8 kids)
The Winter Sunday Drop In Club – Sundays in Famara / Arrieta / La Santa

Dependant upon what level of tuition you require we can film you and then spend time reviewing your style so that we can help you make the improvements… For kids we have surf helmets with a radio system so that we can be in constant contact
Recognised and approved by the Canarian Government and the Canarian Surf Federation CP S & BB Club takes their members to competitions throughout the Canaries and provides a base for international surfers and bb’s as they roam around the globe.
Advanced trips by boat La Graciosa, Los Lobos – so close, surf off the coast of neighbouring islands like north Fuerteventura or across to deserted beaches Morocco..
New beginners are as important as the pro’s !!
